Centre for Learning
The Centre for Learning at Lutheran Community Care provides a range of caring and professional services to individuals, families, community and church groups through education and training programs. We offer courses in relationship education, counselling and community education.
We also offer the opportunity to experience personal growth and insight through our counselling services and participation in the Family Relationship Service program. This program supports families and has a focus on working closely with children and parents as well as a focus on men in family relationships. We also coordinate and train volunteers for the Community Visitors Scheme.
You can check which courses are currently available by clicking on the Course Calendar. The range of courses available can be discovered by clicking on Course Information. Online registration is also available.
Information on our counselling services is available at Services.
We hope you enjoy discovering the many learning experiences available through the Centre for Learning at Lutheran Community Care.
Our work is made possible by generous donations from our financial supporters and also the partnerships we have developed with government and other agencies. The cost of the courses varies depending on funding arrangements . For example, In Couple and Family Relationships courses, some funding is provided by the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing and Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and also by the State government through Families SA. The provision of government funding means that these courses are provided at greatly reduced cost to participants.
